Interim CEO Jay Komas announced June 3 that Dark Horse Comics will voluntarily recognize its workers decision to be represented by CWA Local 7901.
That came one week after Local 7901 announced that 59 of the company’s 102 workers had signed a union petition. Employers that want to fight a union insist on a union election, which buys them time to hire union-busters.
Based in Milwaukie, Oregon, Dark Horse is the celebrated publisher of Hellboy, Sin City, and the Umbrella Academy.

What is the point of this blurb? Missing quite a bit of context, details, and news developments here (planned warehouse closure, moving offices, layoffs in Ops and IT depts) since the CEOs comments way back on 6/3.
