Oregon Federation of Nurses and Health Professionals (OFNHP) is formalizing tentative agreements for new four-year contracts with PeaceHealth hospitals in Vancouver and Longview. More than 1,300 health care workers struck the two hospitals Oct. 23-27: hospital techs and service and maintenance workers at PeaceHealth Southwest in Vancouver, and lab professionals at PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center in Longview.

OFNHP asked that details not be revealed until they’re presented to members, but sources familiar with the agreements said they’re the best agreements yet with PeaceHealth. If ratified by members, the agreements will bring workers closer in pay to their counterparts at other hospitals in the area. The agreements would be retroactive to June and September of 2022, when the last contracts expired, and would run through 2026.

OFNHP members at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart in Eugene still had not reached agreement at press time.
