Plasterers Local 82 on July 1 signed a new master agreement with signatory contractors in Oregon and Southwest Washington. The contract covers roughly 130 Local 82 members working for the contractors that make up the Associated Wall & Ceiling Contractors of Oregon and Southwest Washington (AWCC). It runs July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2027.
For the first year of the agreement, journeymen will make $42.86 an hour plus $19.38 in benefits for a total compensation package of $62.24 an hour. That’s up about 3% compared to total compensation at the end of the previous agreement. Workers will see a similar rate of increase each year of the contract until total compensation rises to $68.69 in the final year. Members will vote annually on how to split total compensation between wages and benefits.
