Shilling for the antiunion Freedom Foundation? Tulsi, say it isn’t so!

Three years ago, Tulsi Gabbard was a union-endorsed Congresswoman from Hawaii’s Second Congressional District, and a Democratic candidate for president. On Oct. 14, she’ll take the stage in Hillsboro at an event sponsored by the Freedom Foundation, the rabidly anti-union outfit that pays for mailings to try to talk public employees into resigning their union membership.

Signs had already been pointing toward a shift in Gabbard’s politics. In 2016 she was one of just a handful of Democratic electeds to back Bernie Sanders against Hillary Clinton. But in the last nine months, she left the Democratic Party and began filling in for Tucker Carlson on Fox News. Shilling for a venomous anti-union group clinches her turn to the dark side of the Force.
