Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries announced April 11 that the state minimum wage will increase 2.4% July 1. Under state law, the minimum wage rises annually based on the increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) over the past year. The new rates will be:

  • $16.30 per hour in Portland Metro Area
  • $15.05 per hour in the Willamette Valley, North Coast, Hood River, Wasco, Deschutes, Jackson, and Josephine counties.
  • $14.05 per hour in the non-urban counties of eastern Oregon and Coos, Curry, and Douglas counties on the South Coast.

Employers are supposed to post minimum wage notices at each worksite. New posters will be available for  download at oregon.gov/boli by June 15.
