The national AFL-CIO announced Sept. 30 it will spend over $1 million on digital and streaming ads in seven “battleground” states to help elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.
The ads — which can be seen here — are set to appear on Meta, Hulu, Max, and news sites. The ads feature union members and are focused on reaching infrequent and swing union voters in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The ads are expected to reach more than 2.5 million union voters.
The AFL-CIO says union households currently favor Harris–Walz by 17 points across battleground states, according to internal and external polling.
