Workers at 11 New Seasons Market locations in the Portland area are voting through Aug. 25 on whether to authorize a one-day strike. New Seasons Labor Union represents roughly 1,130 workers at the stores. The union and the company have been bargaining since January 2023, but still hasn’t reached agreement. In charges filed with the National Labor Relations Board, New Seasons Labor Union is accusing the company of bad-faith bargaining and changing terms and conditions of employment without first bargaining those with the union.
