About 2,000 union members and their families came out to the Northwest Oregon Labor Council’s Labor Day picnic, held at the Clackamas County Fairgrounds this year. They ate hamburgers, played bingo, lined up for facepainting, heard from elected leaders, and were entertained by union musicians: Rose City Brass Quintet, Lorna Baxter Quintet, JT Trawick & Jenny Estrin, and Eddie Parente Trio.
