Union nurses and clinicians with Providence Portland, Providence Seaside, and Providence Home Health and Hospice were back at the bargaining table this month for the first time since ending their five-day strike June 23. Oregon Nurses Association (ONA), which represents more than 1,800 workers in those three units, has not shared public updates about the sessions.

Joint mediation with all three bargaining units is scheduled for Aug. 9.

The three units started negotiating new contracts nine months ago.
