By actors, for actors, and sponsored by their union. The 29th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony is set to take place at 5 p.m. Pacific Time Sunday, Feb. 26. Unlike the Oscars, the SAG Awards are just for actors, and they honor not just individual performances but whole casts.

The live event will take place at Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles, and for the first time, the show is moving to Netflix. For 25 years, it aired on the TNT cable network. Prior to that it was broadcast on NBC. Netflix will air the show on its YouTube channel this year, and make it available for streaming in subsequent years.
