On Jan. 9, the day she was sworn in as Oregon governor, Tina Kotek named her top staff members. Among them is fire fighters union leader Bob Livingston, who will serve as Kotek’s legislative director and labor liaison. A former president of the Salem Professional Fire Fighters Association, Livingston spent the last 20 years at the Oregon State Fire Fighters Council, as legislative director and then president.
