Workers Memorial Day 2021

Workers Memorial Day is observed every year on April 28. Here are some observances planned locally:

  • STATEWIDE Oregon AFL-CIO will hold a virtual memorial service Wednesday, April 28, at 12:30 p.m. on Facebook Live and YouTube. RSVP here.
  • PORTLAND The Northwest Oregon Labor Council will hold a virtual memorial service on April 28 at 4 p.m. via Zoom. Here’s the link.
  • U.S. POSTAL SERVICE Communities and Postal Workers United and the Portland Area American Postal Workers Union will hold a memorial service and rally at noon April 28 at the East Portland Post Office, 1020 SE 7th Ave. For info, visit the event page on Facebook.
