David Groves
David Groves is communications director for the Washington State Labor Council, AFL-CIO, and is editor of The Stand, WSLC’s award-winning news service. He first joined the council in 1992 after working as a newspaper copy editor at the Carroll County (Md.) Times and the (Norfolk) Virginian-Pilot. He has a B.S. in journalism from the University of Maryland.
