The convention is the state labor federation’s highest decision-making body, and will vote on a number of resolutions setting policy, including priorities to pursue in the state legislature.

Delegates will hear from Governor Bob Ferguson and Attorney General Nick Brown and from national labor leaders, including AFL-CIO Secretary-Treasurer Fred Redmond, national UNITE HERE Secretary-Treasurer Nia Winston, and Stacy Davis Gates, President of the Chicago Teachers Union.

Those plenary speeches will also stream live at 9 a.m. July 22 and 23 at facebook.com/WAaflcio.
