Oregon Tradeswomen named Courtney Hamilton as its new interim executive director last month, replacing interim executive director Donna Hammond, who left the organization. A nonprofit group, Oregon Tradeswomen prepares women to enter apprenticeship programs in skilled construction and mechanical trades. Hamilton had been on staff at Oregon Tradeswomen about a year as a fundraiser. Prior to that she worked for Catholic Charities and at a provider of low-income housing.

As interim executive director, Hamilton oversees a staff of 15. This month the group completed a move from its former office in the Rockwood neighborhood of Gresham to an office and classroom space leased from the construction contractor McKinstry at 16790 NE Mason.
