Oregon Tradeswomen — a nonprofit program that recruits and prepares women for careers in the trades — held its annual Build With Us gala Sept. 13.
The event is both a fundraiser and a chance to bestow honors. This year’s “Woman on the Rise” awardees were IBEW Local 48 Journeyman Electrician Michaela Slizoski, Journeyman Lead Carpenter Isabelle Morgan, and LiUNA 737 Journeyman Laborer Barbara Diamondbackeyez.
