Jessica Dietz, the officer in charge for the Portland office of National Labor Relations Board, is out on extended leave without a public timetable for return. In her place, Janet Little will be stepping in to handle the management duties and correspondence. Little works in Seattle as the assistant to the regional director of the NLRB Region 19.
NLRB spokesperson Kayla Blado confirmed there’s not a current plan to hire or promote a replacement. From a search of the federal jobs hiring database, the only paid position the agency is hiring for nationwide is a supervisory attorney advisor position in Washington, DC.
