After 17 years at IBEW Local 125, Marcy Grail left Jan. 3 for a new position as labor relations manager for Kiewit Corporation, one of America’s largest construction companies. Grail was most recently assistant business manager at Local 125. Local 125 represents over 4,000 electric linemen and tree trimmers who operate power plants and maintain electric lines. Before going to work for Local 125 in 2006, she worked as a training manager and in labor relations at PacifiCorp.
Local 125 appointed journeyman lineman Russell Smith to succeed her as assistant business manager, representing members at PacifiCorp. Smith has served on the union bargaining committee at PacifiCorp.
