Members of Portland Federation of School Professionals (AFT Local 111) voted to reject a new tentative agreement with Portland Public Schools, the union announced Sept. 25.
The vote means the union, which represents 1,350 school secretaries, teaching assistants, and other classified staff at the district, is heading back to the bargaining table.
