Labor’s Community Service Agency (LCSA) is gearing up for its annual Presents from Partners event, in which the union community contributes holiday gifts to children and families in financial hardship.
The 2022 Presents from Partners event will once again follow a delivery-style approach in collaboration with 50 unions. Over 500 kids will receive a delivery of gifts, stockings filled with goodies, a catered holiday meal, and a gift for their parents on Saturday, December 17. Approximately 90 union volunteer drivers from various work sectors volunteer their time.
Last year, the Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington labor councils, United Way of Columbia-Willamette, and labor supporters collectively funded all the money needed to put on the event.
