Former IBEW Local 48 president Wayne Chow is resigning his support staff position at the state and local building trades councils to take a job with the IBEW international. Chow, 44, will fill the business development position in IBEW District 9, a position held by former IBEW Local 48 business manager Clif Davis. The job is to promote the use of union electrical contractors among developers, project owners, and contractors across the Western United States. Davis, 66, retired April 1.
