Delegates at the Columbia-Pacific Building and Construction Trades Council (CPBCTC) voted at their Feb. 22 meeting to endorse Vadim Mozyrsky for City Council.
Mozyrsky is an administrative law judge and a union representative for International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers (IFPTE). He’s challenging incumbent City Council member Jo Ann Hardesty in the May primary.
CPBCTC represents 27 construction union locals and about 20,000 Portland-area union members.
Hardesty has two union endorsements thus far, SEIU Local 503 and Local 49.
