Members of Iron Workers Local 29 employed at Carr Construction held a “topping out” ceremony Sept. 10 at the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts in Beaverton. The 43,000-square-foot entertainment complex will feature a 550-seat performance venue, an art gallery, rooms for education workshops and events, a multipurpose room called “The Lab,” meeting rooms, lobby and a showcase plaza.

The Reser Family Foundation contributed $13 million toward the $51 million project. Patricia is chair of the Beaverton-based Reser’s Fine Foods.
The project broke ground in November 2019 and is expected to be completed in late 2021. The general contractor is Skanska.
