Portland-based Laborers Local 296 held a gun raffle fundraiser to benefit Labor’s Community Service Agency and the Union Sportsmen’s Alliance. The local sold 200 tickets at $20 each for a chance to win a Remington semi-automatic pistol. The raffle netted each organization $1,315. Vickie Burns, executive director of LCSA, said the money will go into its Helping Hands fund. The grand prize winner was Casey Scott of Scott Wealth Management Group.
