- Exterior/Interior Specialists Local 2154 is helping 16 drywall hangers get wages for hundreds of board-feet of drywall they installed in March and April.

workers' comp changes proposed by governor's panel
- A labor-management group convened by Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber has reached agreement on changes to the workers' compensation system - the first pro-worker reforms of that system in at least 10 years, said the Oregon AFL-CIO.
ATU wins $35,631 in back pay for
Laidlaw crew
- A five-year battle with Canadian-based Laidlaw Transit Inc. and head-banging with the understaffed National Labor Relations Board has reached a happy conclusion for members of Amalgamated Transit Union Local 757.
State of Oregon temp workers vote
for union
- By an overwhelming margin, some 600 temporary workers employed by the State of Oregon voted May 11 to join the Oregon Public Employees Union.
