- A national search is under way for a new director at the Labor Education and Research Center of the University of Oregon.

- The Oregon Court of Appeals on Nov. 22 overturned the labor-sponsored Open and Fair Elections Act, passed by voters in 1998 as Ballot Measure 62.

- In a workforce of fewer than than 50, two pro-union workers were fired.
BULL Session presents $250,000 to
nine charities
- Representatives from nine local charities were on hand Nov. 21 to receive checks totaling $250,000 from the 10th annual Business, Union, Legislative Leaders (BULL) Session Golf Tournament.
