A union guide to the 2021 primary election for Southwest Washington

Share

Washington’s 2021 primary will help determine who holds local public office, including city councils and school districts. Last month the Southwest Washington Central Labor Council convened a Political Action Committee, which interviewed 17 candidates seeking the endorsement of the local labor movement. The committee voted to endorse eight of them, recommendations that were approved July 7 at the monthly delegates meeting. Ballots are being mailed out July 16 and must be postmarked by Aug. 3.  For each office, the top two vote-getters in the primary will face each other in November.
