Oregon labor history chronology

Pacific Northwest Labor History Association has published a chronology of labor history, assembled by the group’s Oregon trustee Ron Verzuh.

The 82-page booklet includes more than 300 one-to-three-sentence descriptions of events in the history of Oregon’s working people and their unions, including strikes, lockouts, organizing drives, and landmark legislation.

Verzuh said the organization is making the book available at no charge to those interested. The priority is to get it in the hands of teachers and educators. Unions can also request copies of the booklet.
