“Hello working people of southwest Washington!” So says Southwest Washington Central Labor Council President Shannon Myers in the teaser for a new podcast. “… And the world,” adds co-host Harold Phillips, a Vancouver resident and member of SAG-AFTRA.

The podcast, sponsored by the labor council, will launch Sept. 5, Labor Day weekend. It’s called “Working to Live in Southwest Washington,” and the plan is for Myers and Phillips to talk with local newsmakers about “kitchen table” issues, and have some fun.
