Oregon Building Trades Council announces endorsements for November election

Oregon state capitolThe Oregon State Building and Construction Trades Council has endorsed Kate Brown for governor, Brad Avakian for secretary of state, Tobias Read for state treasurer, and Ellen Rosenblum for attorney general.  The council also supports Ballot Measure 98 to fund career and technical education in high schools. In the Legislature, OSBCTC has endorsed the following:

State Senate incumbents: Arnie Roblan-Dist. 5; Brian Boquist-Dist. 12; Mark Hass-Dist. 14; Ginny Burdick-Dist. 18; Michael Dembrow-Dist. 23; Laurie Monnes Anderson-Dist. 25; Tim Knopp-Dist. 27; and Bill Hansell-Dist. 29. It also endorsed Kathleen Taylor in District 21. Taylor is leaving the House to run for Senate.
