Jeff Anderson, secretary-treasurer of United Food and Commercial Workers Local 555, won re-election to a seat on the board of directors of Salem Electric, a private, non-profit, member-owned electric cooperative serving 20,000 members in Salem and Keizer.
The seven-member board is elected by the members it serves. Following its annual meeting in May, the board reorganized and elected Anderson to serve as president. Anderson, of Keizer, was first elected to the board in 1985 and has served as secretary-treasurer and vice-president. Anderson’s term expires in 2015.
